Jerome C. Muys, Jr. is a principal and environmental regulatory specialist and litigator at Muys & Associates, an environmental law firm based in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Muys’ practice focuses on hazardous waste, air, and water regulatory and enforcement proceedings before the United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”), the federal courts and state administrative agencies, and has included representation of companies and trade associations in the energy, automotive and consumer products sectors. He also represents clients on issues involving renewable energy project development and associated environmental protections considerations.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Muys served first as a staff attorney in the Office of Enforcement at EPA Headquarters, and then as a staff attorney in the Land and Natural Resources Division of the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
